Art of James Parcher
Ship's Lantern water color painting by James Parcher

JAMES PARCHER is a prolific, award winning artist with many firsts in shows and many paintings in private collections across the country. He works primarily in oils, often expressing his enthusiasm for life in strong, imaginative compositions and vibrant colors. For painting subjects, Parcher primarily draws on his experiences from his life on and around the water of the Chesapeake Bay, Florida and the islands, and the Delaware beaches, and from growing up in Philadelphia, and his recent years living on Ganoga lake in the mountains of Pennsylvania.
